Leo’s, Juhu – Where Every Cocktail Tells a Story

Mumbai’s vibrant dining and nightlife scene just got a new star—and it’s wrapped in layers of story, soul, and stylish nostalgia. Say hello to Leo’s, a newly opened neighborhood bar in Juhu that’s quickly becoming more than just a place to grab a drink. It’s a mood, a conversation starter, and a memory in the making.

From the moment you step inside Leo’s, it’s clear this isn’t your typical bar. There’s no big signage, no overdone branding—just an invitation to enter a world that feels intimate, intentional, and subtly theatrical. The space is imagined around a fictional character named Leo, a well-traveled soul whose presence is felt in every detail—from the walls lined with vintage vinyl and pop-culture memorabilia to the curious little notes that occasionally appear at your table. You don’t meet Leo, but you feel like he’s just left the room—and that mystery is part of the magic.

The interiors are an eclectic blend of warm exposed brick, classic Moroccan-style tiles, and cozy lighting. Outside, a charming marble-chip patio offers a more relaxed vibe—perfect for breezy conversations or an unplanned evening that stretches late into the night. Music is a vital element here, moving from disco and soul to retro funk, creating a sonic identity that perfectly matches Leo’s narrative.

At the heart of Leo’s is its bold and character-driven cocktail menu. Each drink feels like an extension of the bar’s persona. There’s Cereal Killer, a grown-up twist on a childhood favourite made with chocos-infused milk and liquor. The OG Picante delivers a punchy mix of spice and tequila-fueled flair. Aam-nesia, with its mango purée and beer foam, is equal parts sweet, strong, and dangerously forgettable. And then there’s Red Flag, a grape soju cocktail that’s sweet, bitter, and complicated—just like its name suggests.

The food doesn’t play second fiddle. Drawing from global influences, the small plates menu is equally imaginative. Highlights include Choripan, a vegan take on the Argentinian classic; Charred Soya Chaap Skewers with Peruvian aji verde; and the Tofu & Tuna Tataki, which balances elegance with edge. A delicate Asparagus & Berry Ravioli in sage butter adds a refined touch, while the Buttery French Toast closes the meal on a comforting, indulgent note.

The idea behind Leo’s, says Prasuk Jain, founder of Prasuk Jain Hospitality, is to create spaces that are deeply experiential. With ventures like Snow World and The Game Palacio under their belt, the team brings the same creativity and world-class ambition to Leo’s. Director Priyanka Jain adds, “Leo’s was imagined to reflect Juhu—laid-back, vibrant, and always full of life.”

More than a bar, Leo’s is an immersive concept—a space that builds curiosity, sparks conversation, and encourages you to look up from your phone and into the story unfolding around you.

In a city always on the move, Leo’s invites you to linger—and maybe, just maybe, find a little of yourself in Leo’s world.
