Walk into any space by Neha Gupta and you’ll notice something curious and it doesn’t just look beautiful, it feels beautiful. There’s an energy, a rhythm, a sense that every chair, every chandelier, every plate on the table has been orchestrated not just for the eye, but for the soul.

As Co-Founder, Design Principal, and Restaurateur at Beyond Designs, Neha has mastered the art of what she calls meaningful luxury. Together with Sachin Gupta, she has built an atelier that doesn’t stop at homes or hotels; it stretches into lifestyle, hospitality, and even gastronomy. For her, design is never static. It’s a living, breathing thing that tells stories—sometimes through handcrafted furniture, sometimes through a Versailles-inspired restaurant in the heart of Delhi.
Her journey into hospitality, as she puts it, began with a personal dream. “During my travels abroad, I was always fascinated by shopping-cum-dining concepts—spaces where design, food, and lifestyle came together seamlessly,” she recalls. That vision found its moment in early 2020 with the launch of Beyond Designs Bistro, a European-inspired dining space with Asian flourishes.
Soon came Beyond Designs Home, a space that extends her philosophy into curated accessories, art, and now, a bakery. “I wanted people to enjoy beauty and comfort in every form,” she says. “Whether through a meal, a piece of art, or something they take home.”
The Philosophy of Meaningful Luxury

Ask Neha what “meaningful luxury” means today, and her answer is rooted in emotion. “It’s never just about what meets the eye; it’s about what you feel when you inhabit a space,” she explains. At Beyond Designs, this translates into meaningful maximalism, layering eras, influences, and textures not for excess, but for resonance. A bespoke armchair, a handcrafted artefact, even the play of light and shadow—every detail must earn its place. “Luxury is richness with restraint,” she says. “It’s creating immersive worlds that can’t be replicated.”
The New Language of Luxury

India of today couldn’t be more different, and luxury has mirrored that change. “It’s moved far beyond glamour or the display of wealth,” Neha observes. “Clients today want homes that reflect their journeys and values.” For her, it’s less about accumulating and more about curating—an idea that makes a palace-worthy chandelier and a minimalist reading nook equally luxurious, as long as they feel authentic to the person inhabiting them.
Rooted in Responsibility

Luxury, for Neha, is also responsibility. “Sustainability doesn’t mean compromise—it means redefining luxury with intention,” she says. Beyond Designs champions local crafts, natural materials, and longevity over disposability. It’s not a marketing angle; it’s a way of life that gives depth to her vision.
The Future is Layered
With villas, holiday homes, and new dining concepts in the pipeline, Neha Gupta’s canvas is only expanding. But no matter how big the vision grows, her mantra remains constant: design with heart, live beautifully, and host generously.
