Step into a desert storm imagined in fabric. Almost Gods x FILA transforms sportswear into sculptural artefacts, where tennis-inspired silhouettes meet ritualistic layering and graphics that speak in symbols. This is fashion as story, motion as performance, and sport as myth.
A Desert World Forged in Story
The collection unfolds within a mythic desert universe—eclipse-lit skies, swirling sandstorms, and surreal flora setting the stage. Each garment feels like a fragment unearthed from this imagined terrain, an artefact charged with elemental power and narrative weight. The palette transitions through tones of ash, oxidised red, and iron, mirroring the hues of a world sculpted by nature’s forces. Silhouettes lean toward the sculptural—layered, utilitarian, and steeped in ritual—giving the clothes a cinematic gravitas.

“Every collection is rooted in power systems, both historical and imagined. We look to megalithic sites, ancient warrior garments, and mythic rituals. FILA felt like a natural partner because their legacy is about motion, evolution, and performance—values that align with how we translate stories into clothing,” says Dhruv Khurana, Creative Director of Almost Gods, grounding the capsule in a philosophy where design is inseparable from narrative. Every product is built to carry a story, whether grounded in myth, material process, or imagined ritual. The result is a world where FILA’s heritage meets Almost Gods’ signature cinematic brutalism, turning everyday sportswear into symbolic artefacts imbued with meaning. Athletic silhouettes bend toward the sculptural, while outerwear is layered with an almost ritualistic gravity. The collection invites its wearers to step into a narrative where sport collides with ceremony.
Sculptural Sport Meets Cinematic Design
FILA’s clay-court lineage is refracted through Almost Gods’ brutalist lens, yielding tennis skirts with architectural precision and graphics that speak in symbols. Outerwear arrives as if sculpted by a sandstorm—textural, layered, and elemental—bridging Italian athletic heritage with Indian avant-garde expression. The collaboration leans into a philosophy of clothing as artefact, each piece is charged with narrative intent and elemental energy.

Alisha Malik, President of Metro Brands Ltd., emphasizes the synergy: “This is where FILA’s legacy intersects with a cinematic, narrative-driven vision. Silhouettes are pushed into new dimensions, textures and graphics amplify presence, and every piece exudes elemental power. The collection is a celebration of identity, evolution, and design with depth.”
Launching globally on September 12, 2025, with early digital access on September 11, the Almost Gods x FILA capsule will be available at Almost Gods and FILA stores and online, as well as select retailers including Foot Locker India. It’s more than a collaboration; it is a story in motion, a sculptural, mythic desert landscape you can wear, where sport, ritual, and cinematic storytelling converge.
