and classic cocktail bar nestled in AB Road. Vedant Newatia, Chef and Founder of Atelier V, known for his leanings towards local cuisines coupled with international exposure, believes in the authenticity and sensibility of food and beverage, panders to his innovative streak while retaining the essence of yore.
Newatia has recently launched Around the World in 12 Cocktails menu.
Inspired by the universal ritual of toasting, the 12 signature cocktails in the
menu are named after the local word for “cheers” in different countries.
A dead ringer of an international passport contains the cocktail menu with each page displaying a drink from a different destination and a sensory scale — Spicy / Sour / Salty / Creamy — steering guests through alcoholic nuances as diverse as the countries they represent. Accompanying each drink is a custom-designed coaster, featuring a visual fragment of Atelier V’s bar — a nod to travel souvenirs. On the reverse, guests will find a detailed description and flavour profile of the cocktail. Collect all 12 coasters, and the pieces form a complete image of the Atelier V bar.
Born from Vedant’s own travels and deep-rooted love for global flavours, the cocktails act as a personal postcard — capturing places, memories, and
techniques picked up along the way which blend traditional techniques with modern twists.
